Painted clothing items I never finished painting.
I believe every crafter has at least one project that they have started and never quite finished.
The abandonment of a project is never intentional, but there are definitely reasons why this happens.
Below I will give possible reasons, along with photos of projects I have yet to complete.
I am truly grateful to have the ability to paint.
Having said that, it seems ironic to also say that there are times when I am not motivated to paint.
On occasion, I have been in the middle of painting a project and suddenly lost interest in completing the process.
This usually happens because the art progression is not matching the vision I have in my head.
Even after coming back to the project at a later date, I have not been "in the mood" to finish.
I have been painting and suddenly run out of the color of paint I am using.
For this reason, I have had to put the project aside until I have purchased more paint.
By the time the paint had arrived, I have moved on to another project, and the previous project had been buried in the closet.
It was no longer at the top of my "to do" list.
When I have been in preparation to paint a new clothing item, I often have had the desire to paint several different things all at once.
As difficult as it may have been, I narrowed it down to one.
I may have started with one item, and halfway through painting it, began to paint something else.
The photos that I am sharing represent some, but not all of the clothing items that I have yet to complete.
Yes.
In time, I plan to finish painting each clothing item that I started.
Sometimes I look at all the unfinished projects, and I feel a bit overwhelmed.
But then I remember that I still have time.
My work may be seen on Etsy, Instagram, Hoodiewood, and YouTube.
