A video of hand painted clothing.
I was looking through some of my files, and came across a video I made some years back.
The video contains different clothing items I have painted, and it is comprised of mainly tops, and dresses.
I admit that I had long forgotten that I painted many of these items.
Abstract designs are my favorite.
I see so many abstract images that I am in awe of.
I aspire to grow in creating this type of art.
Nevertheless, I must say that I appreciate the abstract designs that I created on these pieces of clothing.
I actually wish I had filmed a tutorial for each of these designs to use in re-creating them.
The colors are beautiful as well.
I love putting different color schemes together.
I try to mix bright colors most of the time, although when I add black paint, it blends well with the other colors.
I also enjoy painting people.
I am more gifted to paint women than men.
Capturing femininity is natural for me, while displaying masculinity is more challenging.
I also paint sunsets, flowers, and trees.
I enjoy it all.
I have many different styles of painting.
One thing that remains constant is color.
Color is what draws viewers in.
I keep adding color until my eyes tell me that I am done.
When painting abstract, I may paint thick, straight lines, or blotches of color.
In the end, the design is aesthetically pleasing.
Most of the clothing in this video has been sold either online, or at craft fairs I have participated in.
I do have a few of the items, however.
Present day, there are some clothing items that I would like to give a "re-do", and some that I have started painting, but have not yet completed.
I need to have a "day of painting" to get caught up on all my projects.
Maybe then I will be able to compile photos for another hand painted clothing video.
My work is on Instagram.
I have a shop of hand painted clothing on Etsy.
I also have painted graphics on tee shirts, hoodies, and jean jackets at hoodiewood.
