Fashion Art Clothes.
I had a small fashion show a few years ago inside of a home.
There were about 30 people in attendance.
I had become more serious about painting fashion, and the idea of having the show came to me.
I thought it would be so much fun to have this intimate event.
I purchased an assortment of clothes in various sizes to paint.
I then asked friends in these size categories if they would be interested in modeling.
I received affirmative answers from everyone regarding the modeling, and I was going to moderate the event. Perfect!
Unfortunately, things often don't work out as planned.
At the last minute, I was left with only one model, and I had to think quick.
I asked another person to model, and thankfully, she said "yes."
At this point, I still needed at least one more person. Who could it be? I thought long and hard before I realized that it had to be ME.
My sister moderated, and did a great job in spite of having to "wing it."
Below are some additional fashions that were in the show.
I had stayed up until midnight the day of the fashion show.
There was so much painting to do. I did not have an opportunity to paint each clothing item that I wanted to feature in the show.
It turned out okay, because I was not even able to include all of the items that I did in fact finish painting.
As the guests began to arrive, I felt a range of emotions.
I was excited that this was actually coming to fruition.
I was nervous about modeling.
I was excited about modeling.
I was happy to see everyone.
I was hoping that all would go well.
My adrenaline was in full swing.
It was chaotic trying to change clothes, and get prepared for the next outfit.
I had a program written out with the order in which each clothing item would be shown.
Thankfully, I did not pass out a copy to each attendee because I had to go off script a few times.
It all was happening so fast.
And then...it was over.
I was totally exhausted, but I'm so glad I did it
Until the next time...
